Pekanga Career Check is a paid, single-use AI career risk report for individual adults, drawing on the same underlying report engine as Pekanga's school platform and Pekanga Advisor. Available as:
Career Check is a separate product from Pekanga's school platform and Pekanga Advisor. It does not require a school code, an advisor account, or any ongoing subscription.
Career Check is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18 and looking for career guidance, the main Pekanga platform, provided through your school, is the right place for you, not this product.
No account or password is required. To buy a report, you provide an email address, answer a short set of questions about your current role, and complete payment via Stripe. Your report is generated and emailed to you shortly after purchase. You can resend your own report to yourself, or forward it to a friend or advisor, from the confirmation email.
Payment is processed by Stripe. Pekanga does not see or store your card details. Prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable VAT.
Career Check delivers digital content immediately on purchase. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase does not apply once digital content delivery has begun with your consent, and by completing your purchase you agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge this. This does not affect your right to a refund or a regenerated report if your report fails to generate, arrives corrupted, or is not delivered due to a fault on our side, contact hello@pekanga.co.uk and we'll fix it or refund you.
Bundle purchases can be redeemed for up to three separate role assessments. Redemptions do not need to happen at the same time, use the link in your confirmation email to generate each additional report. Bundle credits are tied to the email address used at purchase and are not transferable to another person.
You agree to use Career Check only for lawful purposes and in a way that:
All content on Career Check, including the AI disruption risk framework, report templates, and platform design, is owned by or licensed to Pekanga Ltd. Your own generated report is yours to keep, download, print, and share, for example with a family member, employer, or careers advisor. You may not resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Pekanga's underlying content, templates, or platform access to third parties.
Career Check is for information purposes only. It is not regulated financial, legal, or careers advice, and is not a substitute for professional guidance. AI disruption ratings and salary data reflect current information and reasonable projections, not guarantees about your specific job, employer, or future.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
How Pekanga handles your personal data in connection with Career Check is set out in the Career Check Privacy Notice, which forms part of these Terms.
Pekanga reserves the right to modify or discontinue features of Career Check at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. We may decline or refund a purchase where we reasonably suspect misuse of the acceptable use terms above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
