About Pekanga

Pekanga is a career intelligence platform operated by Pekanga Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Pekanga provides career pathway information, labour market intelligence, salary data, and AI disruption risk assessments to help secondary school students explore their future options.

It is an information service — not a careers counselling service, financial advice service, or regulated professional service of any kind.

Use of the platform by children under 13 requires parental or guardian consent and must be facilitated through a school that has entered into a Data Processing Agreement with Pekanga. If you are accessing Pekanga through a school, your school's acceptable use policy also applies alongside these Terms.

Salary data represents national averages drawn from published sources — individual outcomes will vary significantly based on location, employer, experience, and economic conditions. This information is for guidance only.

Pekanga uses artificial intelligence to generate career pathway content personalised to your subject inputs. By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Intellectual property

All content on the Pekanga platform — including career pathway documents, salary data compilations, AI disruption risk frameworks, and platform design — is owned by or licensed to Pekanga Ltd.

Schools and educators may share and use Pekanga-generated content for educational purposes within their institution, provided Pekanga is credited as the source.

You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any Pekanga content without prior written permission from Pekanga Ltd.

Data and privacy

How Pekanga handles your personal data is explained in detail in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these Terms.

Where Pekanga is accessed through a school, the Data Processing Agreement between Pekanga and the school governs how student data is handled. Schools must not provide student access before a DPA is in place.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
